The planed working day went slower than I expected, even so we plastered half a room and the bicycle rack is stable but not finished..

We continue to clean the house and build the bike rack to find more space in order to have some free space for people to work this weekend in the fire safety issue...
At night we went to have dinner in a nearby pizzaria :)

I went to Yo-Yo coffeeshop to read a bit and found Larry an old guy who wanted to read my future in tarot, really weird conversation about nonsense...

While cleaning, my camera broke the LCD screen, from now on the photos will be even worst :s...

At noon we went to Yo's house to a dinner with all her housemates and the guy who will rent her room from now on...

I visited EYFA's "headquarter" with Yo to finish the Biketour project...the rest of the day spent at the squat...

I worked with Roger in the house and in the night I met Yolanda in De Pepeer after the Samba meeting... We then went to Milena's party, in a small squat lots of South Americans and spanish were playing and singing..

Went to Alex, the greek, to talk about fire safety building as the squat needs to be secured...
After we went to Alex and Ralf's house to finish a second version of the Biketour DVD and have dinner with them...

I stayed most of the day home, and at night we had dinner in De Pepeer..

It's raining for two day with no stop!!.. really depressing to not see the sun...
I lost myself in Amsterdam under the rain for some hours..

It rained a lot all day, but we still tried to cycle back..after 2 hours, already in Hoorn, we caught a train back to amsterdam...really wet day, no photos...

We were awaken early by Dustin, Marilen's son, and went together by bike to visit the city and do some shopping...
In the afternoon we were at home with the kid and played some games (outside is really freezing)
And, as we had to cycled tomorrow, we stayed at home resting and babysitting Dustin while Yo's friends were having a night out :p

Amsterdam -> Enkhuizen

We started cycling after lunch, we first went to a a town near to visit some touristic attractions, as the "Cheese museum"...

After, we cycle straight to Enkhuizen trying to get to Yolanda friend's house before freezing time..we arrived there a bit late, already at night after some snow in the way...we were frozen...eheh...Really nice that Marilen had a wonderful dinner waiting for us :D

We stayed talking with her and till late...

We decided to travel by bike next weekend, so I repaired ours bikes and finished the Biketour DVD Covers, then we planed a little bit how to go to Enkhuizen, Yolanda's birth town.

Shopping day! I cycled with Bogdan to the cheapest turkish shops away from the center ...

In the way we talked a lot and passed in his old squat that is being demolished now...

One of the coldest nights in amsterdam for many years...even some of the water channels were frozen and people were ice skating everywhere, so I went with Yolanda to skate (but I couldn't find skates that fit me :p...)

At noon we caught a train to visit some Carlijn and Tom in Harleem, there we went to a nice concert in a small bar...

We woke up in Yo's house and I helped her with some tasks she still had to finish for the Ecotopia Biketour 2008 project... We were all afternoon designing a DVD cover and organizing a DVD full of information about it as she was the Biketour coordinator last year...

At noon we went to have dinner in an ethiopian restaurant in the center, really funny to eat with your hands a kind of strange pancake with al kind of sauces...

After dinner we went for a beer in a cofeeshop near and then we met an Yo's friend in de Peper who then cycle with us to a GOA party in a squatted old factory... really weird party... too many people on (crazy) drugs...

Helped in the attic moving all stuff and pack it carefully to gain more space there...

De Peper space

At night Yo had Samba practice and we met in De Peper for a drink after she finally went with me to Kashmira coffee shop (probably one of the only tourists who entered the first coffeshop only after one week here :p). Still we didn't smoke anything as we were looking for organic weed because all the crap they smoke here is full of chemicals...

Daga moved in to the squat and everyone helped moving her stuff...

Really great squatting experience to see how to move from one side to the other of the city without using car to carry the big stuff... I pedaled the bakfiet without much effort... :)
