Prijedor -> Krapje (Croatia)

The programed route was short and by a main road, so Daniel, Yolanda, Erick and me decided to make a longer one and visit the kozara national park with a huge monument (Mrakovica) to the second world war partisans made in the communist time of Yugoslavia.

We cycled up (with a pit stop for me and Erick to try a local herb :p) and we spent some funny time taking pictures inside the monument.
After we went down in a dirt road and missed the right turn, so ended up about 40 km away the point we were suppose to, we cycled a lot, very fast, and we meet the rest of the group (already in the other side of the border) in the camp just before dinner...

Omarska -> Prijedor

We had a presentation about the problems of the region in the morning, while Benoit prepared to leave the biketour...

Then all biketour participants signed a letter talking about environmental problems with the metal ore mine and the plan of a new cement factory in Omarska and, with some locals cyclists, we cycle in a big group to Prijedor, to deliver it to the local government.

In front of the city hall we had a small press conference and spread some flyers about the problems in omarska.

We then found a nice place by the river to camp, had a swim and some workshops, moritz talked about eco-villages in Germany and i organized a DIY (Do It Yourself) workshop to build a can-stove (www.instructables.com/id/Can-Stove/) with the intention of using it the rest of the trip instead of gas...

Banja Luka -> Omarska

Me and yo stayed till late in Banja Luka to check internet while the other went to Omarska...
After lunch we started cycling (as fast as we could) to meet them and even pass some..eheh..
Arriving in Omarska, the local NGO had prepared a huge party with amazing vegan food, we talked about some of the town problems and then party till late.

We cycle to banja luka in the morning in order to spread flyers in the center for the movie projection in the cultural center in the central park.

Live free or drive

After the action, i left my bike in the youth center and cycled around looking for internet..
In the night we all cycled to the culture park and after projecting Home, we cycled to a local hot springs and had a funny inside water party :p

Krupa-na Vrbasu

Resting and Workshops day :D
Some workshops were held this day, i participated in the construction of the trailer willow basket and the personal willow basket in the morning and early afternoon presented by andreea (italy), our professional willow man :p...
Then i started cooking dinner (oats burgers, cold salad and hummus :D) while the others were in barkans workshop...
After dinner we had a film projection about Chernobyl (Andrej and sergei work there) and a small discussion...
